I am a design leader who specializes in cultivating and strategically planning for teams delivering user-centered design direction for globally diverse end-users. Customers span across many different industries and represent varied experiences on digital platforms. I inform design direction in industries that include: financial technology, online marketing, healthcare, real estate, energy, insurance, global retail, and semiconductor supply. Shaping communication, collaboration, and leadership skills and experience has been my work focus as it aligns with my core desires in life.
I take pride in helping organizations reach their user goals and achieve business objectives. An experience-oriented approach gives me joy and allows me to solution creatively in and outside of work. I have taken this mentality into all of my creative pursuits. I love being a creative and especially a design leader. All aspects of life are designed, and I am thankful that I get to live what I love each day.

Extended experience
My core desire is to add value to any team, relationship, and situation I find myself in. With an eye toward effective communication and a love for learning new ways to tackle problems, I attained my master certification in user experience from Nielsen Norman Group with a specialty designation in UX Management. I trained in guiding digital design standards within organizations while maintaining their consistency across all digital platforms and channels at scale.
To strengthen my core desire, I pursued learning more ways creative work streams can integrate within delivery teams. Leading with and advocating for positive experiences should not only be an end, but be the focus of the means for a delivery team. When everyone on a delivery team contributes to the outcome of the end user’s experience, impact can abound. Seeking this knowledge has led me to attain certification in the scrum delivery methodology with UX from Scrum.org. With this certification I am able to lead creative delivery within scrum development teams.
Increasing my ability to connect with people, I supplemented my facilitation skills with a LUMA practitioner certification. This has extended my design thinking and collaboration vocabulary, incorporating deeper knowledge allowing me to:
- Use more human-centered design methods, activities and techniques on a daily basis
- Apply combinations of human-centered design methods to common challenges, such as aligning a team or coming up with better ideas
- Collaborate effectively with others — whether that’s colleagues, customers or partners — both in-person and remotely, across locations and time zones
